I thought that this book held a very intriguing character. I really liked the Rumi quotes--Resau manages to integrate them into the book and characters flawlessly. This book was probably intended for an audience slightly younger than me (maybe 8th-10th grade) but I still enjoyed the scenery of the setting. What was great about this book, was that though one can sometimes predict what is about to happen, Resau still manages to make the plot interesting and even throws in a few surprises.
