I enjoyed watching this movie. I usually watch the extras and deleted segments first. It gave me more of a background for the movie. I like Chris Potter and looking forward to seeing him in this movie...unfortunately... most of his work was left on the cutting room floor. I have not read the book, but did enjoy what Disney did with the film. I look forward to seeing the new production. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just finished watching the 'NEW'...Wrinkle in Time..2018 version. Did not like it nearly as well as the older version. Lots of CGI, but not as well done as before. Oprah's part looked like it was shot on an 'empty stage' and her part was just edited in....as a 'see through' hologram. Only in the last few minutes of film did it look like she had any physical contact with the rest of the cast. The boy who played Charles Wallace, was OK... but liked the acting of the 'other' Charles Wallace in the previous film better. I prefered the performance by Alfre Woodard in the 2004 movie to this one. I would give this film 1 1/2 to 2 stars. Very disappointed.
