Looking at ole’ Rufe looking soooo sensitive in his red plaid jacket, I had little hope for this one. To my (slight) surprise, his voice has improved immensely. I guess you could say that it truly fits the retro songs that he likes to sing. On the first two (Out of the Game, Jericho) they almost appealed to me. Unfortunately, the relentless lack of humour and excessive earnestness becomes overwhelming and I had to continually resist the temptation to hit fast forward or off. (C) (original 2012)

Whatever happened to the Rufus we loved, and was only going to be bigger and bigger? He now seems to be in some holding pattern,I hope he breaks out of it.
