Chris is sent to live with his aunt in North Carolina for the summer after coming out as trans and having troubles with his peers back home. Maia lives next door and her family is grieving for her older sister, who died last year. Neither Chris nor Maia should be falling in love, but ever so slowly, they do. But they’re both keeping secrets - secrets big enough to tear their tentative relationship apart. Something like Gravity is the perfect book for readers who enjoy books by Sarah Dessen, Becky Albertalli and Rainbow Rowell. 5/5 stars - SAPL Read It & Review Contributor
