His family life is not great, and he is trying to hold everything together. I think that this book touches on important issues and is very emotional without being too much in a way. I was surprised to find out that there is a movie about this book as well. I want to watch it when I can. 5/5 stars - SAPL Teen Read It & Review Contributor
I found this to be really dark, but it's probably not that far from the reality of what it would be like to come out in a very small community. I am also not the audience for the story. If I understood right, there's also a film of the book, so check them out.
