I got a big warm fuzzy just from reading the "How it all started" section at the beginning -- I feel the same way about scraps and continue to buy fabric primarily as scraps and remainders rather than choosing off the bolt. The serendipity of finding fabric that way has a "it was meant to be" feeling to it.
The quilt ideas here make this book a great Pinterest-on-a-shelf addition to a sewing collection. I'd love to have this book just to flip through on occasion to spark inspiration.
