Great story that touches heart, breakthrough animation with natural splendor blending in realistically. Characters are created based on familiar physical appearance, yet allure the curious beyond the ordinary realm.

I actually liked it more than I thought I would. It was a well-worn story plot, but done in a fresh and interesting way.

I had heard that this movie wasn't the greatest, and when I watched it I was delightfully surprised. Perhaps my expectations were so low that I could have liked anything, but it really was a touching and entertaining story to watch. Friendship and family ties are emphasized and the take-home message is inspiring. I grew to love Arlo and his friend Spot. Now to get my children to watch it as well!

I liked this DVD cartoon. I liked the characters. It has a moral story attached to the plot. It shows the importance of working together to be successful. It demonstrates compassion for others. It shows the importance of family and hard work. It shows the value of respecting others. It is a little scary for young children. It is not too sexual. The violence is subtle.

What a spectacular coming of age story. When failure is presented to Arlo he learns how to strive and survive. The cinematography is amazing, you forget it is an animated film.

I think this was a very fun movie for kids and adults. The scenery was beautiful. they blended real with animated very well. Great story line about loss in family and learning to be who you are. It is sad in places and some violence so not for real young children.

I LOVE Pixar movies. I've liked every Pixar movie up to this one. This one is altogether too dark, violent and sad to be a kids movie. And really didn't have the charm, or the laughs, that I've come to expect from Pixar. I didn't laugh at all. Disappointing.

I am a huge Pixar fan. But this one just didn't cut it for me. Pixar has done better.

I love movies and watching them with my kids. This one however was the biggest waste of time. The dinosaurs attitude the whole movie was so annoying, the story line was so boring. The acting was boring. The movie was dragging on and we didn't even finish it. The only good thing about this movie was the scenery, it looked very real.
