I recommend this book for any age group.

When reading the narrative you may wonder what or who to look for. The concept of this book could be simplified to the animals however in the context of multiple perspectives you could search through the image for something personally relative to your life. Therefore, this book could be an excellent tool for social development.

We explore various environments of a city. There are animals cleverly exploring in each scene, a change to the constant pattern of human life. Various visual angles/perspectives are achieved in illustrating the narrative and offers the reader a chance to explore not only in imagination but in relation to the narrative. Human life comprises majority of characters within this book.

The language is simple. Short sentences support warmly coloured imagery, representing the narrative as a panorama. The scenes extend deeply into the horizon, hosting many layers (buildings, people, environment).but remains simple.

As a reader, we can explore the personified words describing the « elephant in the room »
