One of the best books I've ever read. The plot and narrative are excellent. And I would add my congratulations to not only M. Pierre Lemaitre for winning the Prix Goncourt for this novel but also Frank Wynne for his outstanding translation. Very highly recommended.

The best, most satisfying novel I've read since Kate Atkinson's Life After Life. Follows in the tradition of French literary greats, Albert Camus and Jean-Paul Sartre. Beautifully written, utterly engaging. Hoping for a French mini-series or film!
