To begin this is a book fo world building. It has no overarching narrative, it is essentially the lore guide to the Warcraft universe. Now, if that is the sort of thing you are into (which World building is one of my favorite things) then this is absolutely a book worth checking out. It is the first in what is to be a series of books documenting everything in the Warcraft universes lore. From how the universe began to the modern day, and it is incredibly well done.

While not everyone's cup of tea, if you're into lore and world building, or even just Warcraft, this is a book worth giving a read.
