this book is written in rhyme and describes the nighttime noises and activities from nature in a poetic prose that repeats and builds on the sounds of previous pages. The text is in a half cursive, half printing font that can be a little difficult to read and definitely not child-friendly.
Good book for night time unit or poetry unit.
Sample text:
Now bellflowers ring, pring pring witha chime, and in waltz raccoons in tra-la-la time. shh-shh; glint-glint; pring-pring; tra-la-la.
