I renewed the book NAPOLEON
so it is not overdue.

You probably missed it going over to the new catalogue.

Please make the correction in your records.

First rate. A masterwork. The only thing wrong with it is its weight. Ebook or, even better, eAudiobook would be better. Tirelessly researched and annotated. Yes, apparently previous books had access to only two-thirds of his correspondence. Confirms that young Nappy was a scholar of considerable achievement - a voracious reader of history and a math genius. I esp enjoy context that makes French Revolution disturbingly real. Even the introduction is excellent. Highly recommended.

Andrew Roberts' new biography is well paced and thoroughly researched. He writes in a entertaining and insightful style that at times even made me think of McCulloughs ' John Adams', which is pretty high praise. Roberts benefits from his use of the recent release for the first time of a very large volume of Napoleon's correspondence.
Highly recommended.
