I always look forward to Brett's Charles Paris' books . They are light mysteries, no dark, twisted characters, no serial murders, They take place in and around the theater (Charles is an actor) and Brett's own experience with actors and their milieu along with their foibles and flaws contributes to amusing descriptions of Charles' fellow players. Brett likes this group of people which makes reading his books so enjoyable.
