The sixth book in the critically acclaimed DI Marjory Fleming series.

'A welcome return for Templeton's tough but tender DI, Marjory 'Big Marge' Fleming... The vivid characterisation, excellent description and a horribly looming sense of inevitability make Cradle to Grave a riveting read.' Laura Wilson, Guardian

'Templeton can always be relied on to provide a well-written, cleverly-plotted, old-fashioned whodunit.' The Times

Accused of murdering the baby in her care, seemingly cold and measured nanny Lisa Stewart maintains her innocence. But when she changes her name and tries to run away, the terrifying threats always find her.

Is she an innocent victim of public anger? Or a calculating murderer on the run?

Takes a while for Templeton to set up the plot and to introduce all the characters both the victims, police, and the bad guys. Set in Northern England, the story is about a nanny who was acquitted from the death of a baby in her care, but the family hasn't forgiven her. Unfortunately, the family has unbalanced members who stalk the nanny. Should she confront them? Margery Fleming is the DI in this series. Novel doesn't have to be read in series order.
