The book was very easy to follow and even somewhat humorous at times. It took on more difficult topics towards the end, but remained easy to read. A great refresher for the concepts I had previously learned and did a stupendous job at introducing new concepts to me.

Easier to follow than the brief history of time. Still got lost though!

One of the best science books I've ever read. The writer takes some of the most fascinating stuff about astrophysics and turns it into something anybody could pick up and read.

A far, far better book than Neil Turok's "The Universe Within", which I read just before this one. I liked the humble and considerate attitude of Hawking and Mlodinov in carefully explaining for the layperson what the science of physics has discovered.
