Great pictures, nicely laid out. Quick and easy facts on each dog breed. Even if you're not looking to get a dog, this is a great coffee table book, or a fun read with kids. If you are looking to get a dog, the genetic predisposition facts are fair warning.

Interesting idea to put desired traits in choosing a dog. This way you can't work against the genetic dispensation of a breed and you can figure out what breed would suit your lifestyle. I would think that owners would then find it less frustrating in handling a new canine addition to a household.
