Charlie, the mastermind of a Venice heist, is overseen by John, a lifelong criminal. But the thieves are ruthlessly double-crossed by one of their own, Steve. In order to get their stolen gold bars back, Charlie enlists John's reluctant safecracking-prodigy daughter, Stella. But Steve proves himself to be one step ahead of them, and Charlie finds that he'll have to make some daring last-minute changes to their plan by creating the largest traffic jam in Los Angeles' history.

Stunt drivers were fantastic with the power boats and Mini Cooper cars. There is no honor among thieves. Crooks stealing from crooks.

A good but rather formulaic heist film. The Chicago Reader rates it thumbs up, but also says "mindless fun." That truly describes this film.

Lots of action, but has a very predictable and plain story

This is an excellent movie worth watching. I had forgot I had seen in the past and I once again found it very entertaining.

This movie is full of action and has many twists. The characters are witty and find a way to get justice for what wronged them.

I love a good heist movie, and this one does not disappoint. It races along, gives you some good laughs, and keeps your attention the entire time.

This crime/action movie is as much about spectacular car, speedboat, and helicopter chase scenes as about safe-cracking. It illustrates the role of luck (unexpected events) in the success or failure of a crime. The movie warns of the potential vulnerabilities of our web-based computer systems to "remote control".

I never saw the original movie with Michael Caine, so I can't compare the two versions. I can say that this one is fast-paced and enjoyable, with some great action scenes.
