One of my favorites. I liked this book from page 1. McNally shares a lot of his knowledge in a way that " newbies to seasoned " photographers can easily understand. He has a knack for putting very technical things into everyday language. He has a very fun & light sense of humor throughout the book. McNally gives a lot of illustrations with explanations that are HELPFUL --- not " grandstanding by a pro " if you know what I mean. Many, many tips for every situation. This book is WELL worth the time it takes to read. I would recommend it to everyone! I've been photographing for over 15 yrs and I thoroughly enjoyed every page.

I concluded that I don't want photos like the pros shoot. I want photos that make me happy and the fantastic ones are treasured accidents.
