I have watched the whole series and couldn't have been happier with the acting, the plots, the character interactions. just wonderful as only british tv can be. would recommend it to everyone.

Columbo had his battered trenchcoat and Jack Frost has his hat. This is a terrific series and I am sorry to see it end, but everyone ages, the viewer and unfortunately the actors even faster. "The Final Season" has three endings, all of them quite moving.

A note: The fellow who played the archivist in Frost's police HQ - I think his name was Trigg - was David Jason's older brother (in real life), Arthur White. Jason's original name was David White.

I was so sorry to reach the end of this marvelous series. I appreciate that British productions cast mature actors (age 50+) as primary characters -- heroes, villains, and lovers -- whereas U.S. productions continue to pander to the younger demographic.

Well written mystery detective TV show. Good for all ages. Not to violent. No sex scene. Enjoyable.

The series ends on a satisfying note. All three endings are included in the DVD, so you can choose the one you like best.
