I found the story line to be rather interesting, but it's hard to know that because the script writing was terrible. If you can get past the crummy dialog, it's rather like a murder mystery in space. I thought the back story they gave Samus was fascinating, though the plot line of killing most of the characters was something I found to be more tedious than entertaining. I had a great time playing it, the controls weren't too bad (though I've seen better). The game does a looping thing after a while that makes some of the bosses very difficult and time consuming to defeat, which makes you end up shutting it off for a while and then when you get back to it a while later they're not nearly as hard. Despite it's flaws, I found it to be really enjoyable to play and all my fellow residents who were forced to watch the game instead of a movie or show seemed to find it equally as entertaining as I did.

Terrible game unlike the Metroid Prime trilogy. The controls were a major downgrade from the smooth controls from the previous games. Making this game third-person ruins the fun of this game as it takes away the skill required to play with the auto-aim feature. The story makes Samus look really weak and the game play is constantly interrupted with cheesy dialogue. An epic downgrade in every way from the previous games.

Started this game but sadly didn't have time to finish it. I did enjoy playing it but did get a bit frustrated in places too.

Finally, one Metroid game I could finish! I'm impressed with the effort and ingenuity Team Ninja has done with this 'Metroid' game.
I'm finally not stuck where I can't advance no longer, like in Metroid Prime 3 (or 2, or the original. I got Metroid Prime when I was in grade 1 for Gamecube and I still can't finish it :( ]. It is very entertaining to watch the finish blow to the enemy! The cutscenes were overdone, but it did give a clear explenation of what's happening, but just to much. And the need to switch from 3rd person to 1st was a pain in the wrist. Yet, this is the MOST EPIC METROID GAME IN THE SERIES.

Overall a well designed game that is very faithful to its predecessors, easy to learn controls and good blend of action and problem solving. I found some of the cutscenes tiresome, however, and the final bosses seemed too easy- it was over before I knew it!

I really don't care what others think of this game but i think.....IT WAS THE BEST GAME EVEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Sure the dioluge was boring and too much. Sure the search veiw mode at parts made me mad since you couldn't turn back to 3rd person until you find something that was impossible to find. But still over all this game is great and worth a try. =D

The cheesy dialogue nearly killed me.
