Fun illustration of the consequences of small actions and why there are rules.

But I don't like how the kid doesn't have any space to explore, all the adults are mad at him and shaming him, and the parents aren't setting the limits even when they're RIGHT THERE. Rather they're letting the police pull them over and looking embarassed to be associated with the kid, or the mom is letting him LEAN OVER her to honk the horn, yet it's the kid taking the rap.

This is a very good book that helps to visually demonstrate to a child the consequences of actions that they may feel would never harm anything. I highly recommend it!

Funny illustrations, good premise, but gets tiresome about halfway through and falls flat at the end. In spite of that, a solid bibliotherapy choice for understanding the impact of one's behavior choices. Better for one-on-one or small groups because of picture size. Kant's categorical imperative for the preK-2nd grade set.
