A very fun movie with lots of laughs. Jason Segel is more than entertaining, along with many fun characters.

For what this movie is, it isn’t bad. Some serious editing needs to be done on this movie, overall too long with many scenes just needing to be shorter. There are some good jokes and overall the humour isn’t too tasteless. Never cared for Russell Brand before but thought his character was great in this movie.

Not a fan of Jason Siegel at all.
Mila Kunis was only ever good in
That 70s Show. Russell Brand, albeit a witty (yet over-rated) comic, was underutilized here. I do not recall laughing.

Bawdy but beautifully written. Interesting story behind this one. I admire that the writers (the same guys behind the most recent Muppets film) tweaked the characters enough to fit the respective actor just right.

Familiar faces, predictable humor, Hawaii. Boring ...

Funny if you like raunchy humor. I had no problems with the jokes, but parts of the movie dragged and the timing on the punch lines were off. Overall enjoyable regardless.

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. I found this movie to be very well directed, with an engaging story and very amusing situations. It is also very well written, and I was very surprised that it was written by Jason Segal. This movie is obviously not for the kids, but just like any extremely raunchy comedy, I believe this movie will also disgust many adults. If you like off the beaten path romantic comedies, and can tolerate the dirty jokes then I highly recommend you check this movie out.

It was Kristen Bell who got me to watch this one. But I fell in love with Mila Kunis by the movie's end.

Peter is a composer and a likable sad sack who's devastated when his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall, the star of a cheesy CSI-style crime show, dumps him. He weeps, he rails, he mopes. Finally, his step-brother Brian suggests Hawaii, so Peter heads for a resort on Oahu where, as he's checking in, he sees Sarah and her new beau, Aldous, a polymorphously perverse English rocker. The weeping and moping start again, until Peter is rescued by Rachel, a thoughtful hotel clerk who invites him to a luau and to hang out. Although he constantly runs into Sarah and Aldous, Peter starts to come alive again. Will Sarah realize what she's lost, and what about Rachel?
