A must for anyone interested in Antartica.

A frist rate read. This book recounts the story of Scott and Amundsen's race to the pole in a gripping and readable fasion. The author presents some of the controversy surounding Scott's leadership abilities allowing the reader to come to his/her own conclusions about Mr. Scott's abilities.
