One of my top 5, in an awesome Jazz collection. Totally Klassique..!!! and totally, ALL first take recordings done for that album, *2 Flamenco Schetches. One and done! That is how good the musicians are and what is heard. SOooo good... I used to listen to it everyday before going to work.

Trying out some different jazz records since I am not familiar with the musical genre. The only jazz album I own is by John Coltrane. I always thought Miles Davis (trumpet) was hard bop or whatever they call dissonant jazz music, but this album is truly lovely. John Coltrane plays on this album and all of the members really add a nice texture to the album. This album is (was?) the highest selling jazz album is the U.S. – I believe it and I think I may have to buy a copy myself!

One of the most important jazz albums. Personally, this album is really calming after having played some of the tunes.

Although its over fifty years old, it still sounds fresh, languid, and groovy.

Simply the best jazz record ever recorded. Remember it was made in 1954, yet it feel vital and fresh as ever. The music is melodic and powerful. The genius of Miles Davis is shown here like none other of his many fine recordings.

If you never hear another jazz artist, listen to "Kind Of Blue" by Miles Davis first. There are few albums as melodic and inspirational as this album. I wouldn't part with my copy and I hope you get to take this masterpiece out for yourself.

Disc 1 has been damaged by inconsiderate patrons.

Possibly the most beloved jazz album of all time. If you don't appreciate this album, you are not a jazz fan, period. Davis, Coltrane, and Evans on one album! A whole new type of music by Davis, a musician that continuously reinvented himself just when people caught on to the old Davis.

Generally recognized as his best work and as perhaps the greatest jazz work of all time....
