The eagerly awaited new book from the Emmy-winning, Oscar-hosting, Daily Show-anchoring Jon Stewart--the man behind the megaseller America (The Book).

Where do we come from? Who created us? Why are we here? These questions have puzzled us since the dawn of time, but when it became apparent to Jon Stewart and the writers of The Daily Show that the world was about to end, they embarked on a massive mission to write a book that summed up the human race: What we looked like; what we accomplished; our achievements in society, government, religion, science and culture -- all in a tome of approximately 256 pages with lots of color photos, graphs and charts.

After two weeks of hard work, they had their book. EARTH (The Book) is the definitive guide to our species. With their trademark wit, irreverence, and intelligence, Stewart and his team will posthumously answer all of life's most hard-hitting questions, completely unburdened by objectivity, journalistic integrity, or even accuracy.

Also available as an ebook and as an audiobook.

Brilliantly funny work by the Daily Show writers and staff, biting and snarky in just the right places.

Jon Stewart always knows how to make me laugh! From cover to cover there are little things that will grab your attention and make you laugh out loud. This is a great coffee table book because you can pick it up and read a few pages with no context! If I were an alien visiting earth, I would definitely have a copy of this with me!

Heather Mallick: "Every book produced by The Daily Show on the state of the planet and the humans that infest it is like a shot of vodka. It reduces the pain. Funny as hell, but unquotable. I won't like anyone who doesn't find this book to be a good, honest hunk of American genius, littered with the demotic that makes the nation loved despite its rulers and the giant strategic reserve of cluelessness that will be its ruination."

Love Jon Stewart but couldn't get into this right now. Maybe later..
