When an Italian carpenter discovers that his block of pine wood can talk, he gives it to the lonely Geppetto to make into a marionette. Unfortunately for the puppet-maker, his creation proves to be quiet the disobedient and lying little boy. Through many adventures and catastrophes, however, Pinocchio will learn the errors of his ways and possibly actualize his, and Geppetto's, dream of becoming a real boy.
