Good book for anyone who enjoys Mysteries, Historical Fiction and Romance all in one. Story had plenty of suspense and intrigue. Kept me turning pages.

Always looking for engaging historical mysteries. This one did not disappoint! I especially enjoy books involving fictionalized adventures of real characters. The plot seems a little convoluted, at first, but all the story lines pull together really well and there's alot of exciting action too. I'll be looking for the next title in this series.

Loved it loved it loved it!!! Story line keeps moving, themes very witty, and couragous plots moved at just the right pace. Fantastic fiction, could not put this book down, went straight to author's next, Bedlam. Laura Joh Rowland did an excellent job!
