This book is very sad, but also very interesting. Most books about the holocaust are mainly surrounding the death camps, this shows a different view, one I wasn't really aware of before. Blonde hair and blue eyed children stolen from their parents, adopted and trained to be the perfect Germans. Milanda is very brave young girl who survives so much to try to remember who she is and where she belongs.
