A NovelBook - 2006
Reed is a Billings Girl now.
And with her new status come respect, envy, and, most important, opportunity. Not to mention the parties. Unfortunately, at the next illicit party in the Easton campus woods, her roommate snaps some pictures of Reed in more than one compromising position. She uses the photos to blackmail Reed: Dig up dirt on the most powerful and popular Billings Girls or she will have Reed expelled.
And speaking of parties, the Legacy is coming up. It's the invitation-only Halloween party in NYC and it's rumored that Thomas -- Reed's MIA boyfriend -- will be making an appearance there. Too bad Reed isn't even close to invited.
Life as a Billings Girl is every bit as glamorous as Reed imagined. What she didn't bargain for is the tangled web of private lies these girls weave.

SummaryAdd a Summary
In this second installment Reed finally achieves what she's desired for most, to finally be let into the Billings Girls' circle of friendship. However, what she was expecting is far different from reality, especially when one of the girls blackmails her into snooping through the 'it' girl's rooms. I didn't enjoy this book as much. Didn't enjoy reading how Reed was willing to toss her morals strictly for her new found status and longing to remain at the school. I get her desire but I at times have a hard time stomaching how easily to turns from the girl we were originally led to know. At the same time, all of her actions and the various circumstances she's placed into are very 90210/Gossip Girl. Maybe just reading about her actions are hard to accept. I'm still enjoying this series as a complete reading vacay. It's light, super fast to finish and just a nice typical teen/tween TV show via book.
