This is an excellent book with just the right amount of picture to words ratio. Children who can't read are content to look through all the interesting bugs, and parents who wish to read with them (or young readers themselves) can easily read key information without getting too overwhelmed by too much information. My 4 year old loves this book, but it would be great for anyone up through middle school who wants to get a general knowledge of bugs.
