Add a QuoteNoah: The time for mercy has passed. Now our punishment begins.
Noah: A great flood is coming. The waters of the heavens will meet the waters of earth. We build a vessel to survive the storm. We build an ark.
Noah: Fire consumes all. Water cleanses. It separates the foul from the pure. The wicked from the innocent. And that which sinks from that which rises. He destroys all, but only to start again.

A truly horrible movie. Absolute bottom-of-the barrel garbage. A total embarrassment on all counts. I loathe Russell Crowe.
This is not an interesting movie. I did not watch much.
This is an appallingly bad movie. Nothing whatsoever redeems this one.
Another typically oddball movie from Darren Aronofsky who takes the biblical flood story of Noah and bends it into some interesting shapes. If you approach it as the director trying to reimagine the story as an universal flood myth set in a forgotten age of legends where the distance between men and God was much closer than in modern times, it may seem to make more sense that expecting a straight retelling of the Genesis story. It is a movie where some of the changes seems to work while others don't seem to make sense. The one flaw I had in the movie was the director in order to have "drama" onboard the boring seabound Ark resorted to Noah's misunderstanding God's instructions(bad cell reception) causing conflict with his family and the bigger showdown conflict with a dangerous stowaway. Neither of those last twists really work in the 3rd act of the movie but the movie is more ambitious than several new movies put together even with it's flaws.
Don't waste your time on this one
The story takes a lot of liberties and adds a lot of wild surmise to the bare bones scriptural flood narrative." What ifs" and speculation can lead to deeper thought, but if it doesn't help faith grow, well....what's the point? We all get to choose what we believe, but not the consequences.
worst movie ever! not only it is nowhere like the bible but it is a long draw out depressing movie. after watching the 1st 20 min of the movie your day would become a little gray.
What a waste. It was an awful movie! I definitely don't recommend this. I'm a fan of Emma Watson, but really? She's done way better. Very disappointing.
This film's content mixed Noah's story in bible with imagination of writer. I do not think it is a interesting film.
