This retrospective honors her enduring legacy, and features 20 complete performances filmed from 1964 to 1969, many of which are available for the first time on DVD. Blue-eyed soul / pop singer, incredible voice. The dvd is split up with music videos, interview clips with Dusty, her backup singers, Burt Bacharach, etc; the footage is split between black and white and colour film.

In a 1978, televised interview (excerpts included on this DVD), Dusty Springfield (40 at the time) laughingly remarked about how it really amused her that drag queens liked to impersonate her from her days of wearing super-heavy mascara, peroxide blonde, bouffant hairdos, and laced blouses, buttoned right up to the neck.

Well-Well - Who would've ever guessed that Dusty would, in fact, be publicly outed a couple of years later (as a lesbian) when her volatile marriage to actress Teda Bracci ended in a vicious confrontation that sent the both of them to the hospital?... My-oh-my!

Born Mary O'Brien in 1939, Dusty Springfield (with her powerful "pitch-perfect" singing voice) remains to this day ranked right up there in the "Top 25 Best Female Vocalists" of all time.

During the Swinging Sixties, Dusty Springfield quickly became something of a pop culture icon, effortlessly belting out such tailor-made songs (thanks to talented songwriters like Burt Bacharach & Hal David) as - I Only Want To Be With You, Wishin' And Hopin' (my fave), and Son Of A Preacher Man.

This DVD features Dusty Springfield performing 20 of her biggest and most memorable tunes.

*Special Note* - In 1999 (at the age of 59), Dusty Springfield died from breast cancer. If you are interested in finding out more about Dusty (this girl had a long history of mental disorder), then check out her bio on Wikipedia.
