A feminist but vast conspiracy-oriented work about the sex trade and reproductive technologies. Janice Raymond has some good points, but this book is dated, exaggerated, has several blind spots (apparently men are not sex workers ) which unfortunately play into a social conservative agenda. Raymond is also the author of The Transsexual Empire, a work of spectacular bigotry, whose themes also appear in Women As Wombs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Transsexual_Empire
