A great premise, the best of British comedy! Best mates since childhood, five guys embark on a pub crawl that evolves into a crazily apocalyptic adventure. The final movie in the Cornetto Trilogy which includes Shaun of the Dead and Hot…

"One part pub crawl, one part awkward high school/hometown reunion, and one part alien invasion." - Shannon L.

Much of the appeal of this film is lost on me, given that I am neither British, nor a drinker, nor a member of a tight-knit group of teenage friends who've grown up and apart into middle age. The comedy largely doesn't work for my…

Simon Pegg is a extremely talented actor/writer/producer who is under valued. He is great in this movie,, and the story is original compared to some of the reboots now. I enjoyed the story of the man child who is trying to reconnect with…

Watched this recently when I couldn't stand reading more about politics and just like a good pub crawl should it took my mind off things.

This is a 2013 British SF supposedly comical drama directed by Edgar Wright. It is the third and final film in the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, following Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007). Although it is supposed to be…

By far the weakest link in the Cornetto Trilogy but fans of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz will find some things to appreciate here.

Simon Pegg does his nerd sci-fi comedy thing. Not annoying, but I never laughed.

an odd, mostly unfunny misfire from Simon Pegg & Edgar Wright. aside from the general lack of originality here (it's basically a cross between Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Wright's own Shaun of the Dead), this movie takes FOREVER to…

Moderately amusing sci-fi comedy that takes a long time to get started. Attempts at insightful social commentary are hard to pick out of a mess of silly action sequences, but Simon Pegg is somewhat entertaining as Gary King, who seeks to…

Silly British comedy with some okay performances from Pegg and the others. Would not have been impressed if I had to spend money on seeing it.

Well-acted but pointless.

Very enjoyable and witty lines. Full of rudeness, farting, and bathroom humour I love so much. Thank goodness the library is not censored by the opinions of the majority or this gem may not have made it for inclusion in the library system.

Simon Pegg’s enormously unfunny alien invasion comedy, an idiotic blend of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Animal House, relies far too much on beer-soaked pratfalls and CGI mayhem instead of genuine wit. What humour there is consists…

Those who think that adolescent rudeness, farting, and bathroom humour are entertaining may enjoy this movie. I can't imagine any adult watching it on purpose. This production is unfit for inclusion in the library system.

The pod people take over pubs. Some moments are funny, some aspects are sweet, but there is a fair amount that is just crude.

This film is by far the greatest effort Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's have achieved thus far. I have always been a huge fan of these two, being one of those rare and more than perfect pairings. I will not spoil this film by giving away…

The Importance of Getting Sh*tfaced. While not a perfect -- more could have been done to link the wryly melancholy first half to the action packed second half, and the ending needs a re-think -- this is fine comedy, starring five actors at…

A funny men's movie about a pub crawl gone crazy, I liked it, but not for all. Silly English humor.
