Add a Commentmartin shaw is always a joy to watch. judge john deed or george gently, he never disappoints!!!
Season one of Judge John Deed includes the pilot and four other episodes. Each episode has trials over which Judge Deed presides. The episodes also portray the High Court's internal politics as well as John Deed's personal life. Judge Deed is deemed a maverick and troublemaker by his political bosses and that creates a lot of tension and judicial intrigue. Overall the series is an interesting look into England's legal system with thought provoking trials.
